Police report 17 convenience store robberies in 2012

It's been a busy year for robbery suspects in Lincoln.

 So far they've investigated 37 robberies this year.  Police say 17 of those were robberies at convenience stores.  That's 10 more than last year.  20 were at businesses.

In the last week and a half alone, there have been 8 business robberies- all suspects were armed with a gun.

Lincoln police have no suspects for the most recent robberies, but continue to interview witnesses and look through surveillance video.
