A fire leaves a house in west Lincoln with smoke and structural damage.
It happened Sunday morning around 9:45 near SW 2nd and B Streets.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to a house with smoke pouring out of the back porch. Firefighters say they put out the fire quickly but there was a good amount of damage.
"Yeah there's considerable damage," Fire Captain Robert Borer said. "We tore a good part of the back porch apart as well as the roof and that's where his kitchen is."
Borer says initial investigation shows the cause of the fire may be electrical.
No one was injured.
