A Lancaster County judge set a jury trial date for Rogers.
However, the judge has taken the change of venue request by Charlie Rogers under advisement. In the meantime, a January 7th jury term has been set for her case.
Roger's attorney, Brett McArthur, says the request to move the trial to a different venue was made to Lancaster County Judge Gale Pokorny last Friday. McArthur says there's a strong possibility that jurors will be tainted by the publicity Roger's case has gained. The judge could rule on the request Tuesday morning.
On July 22nd, Rogers is charged with making a false report for telling police that three masked men broke into her home, assaulted her and carved derogatory words in her arms and abdomen.
She has pleaded not guilty. Rogers recently posted a video of herself on YouTube maintaining her innocence in the case.
