2 killed in I-80 accident west of York

YORK, Neb. (AP) - Investigators are trying to determine why a moving truck crossed the median on Interstate-80 in eastern Nebraska and collided with another vehicle, killing two people.

The accident happened in Hamilton County on Tuesday afternoon 7 miles west of York. Hamilton County Attorney Michael Powell says a moving truck crossed the median striking another vehicle.

Officials did not immediately release the names of the two people killed in the crash.
