What defines perfection?The optimist will say it's winning every game on the schedule. The negative side might call it not losing a game. But to the Seward women's basketball team,it's a way of life... In fact, it's a team motto.
101 consecutive wins spanning 4 seasons, and 4 straight state titles.
"The Passionate Pursuit of Perfection" they call it... Always working, never satisfied.
This year's Seward class returns several starters, a veteran bunch feeling confident. But the odd part about it is no girl on this team, from freshmen to seniors, has ever lost a high school game.
The challenge of winning every game is difficult enough, staying there is even harder. The Blue jays shot at win number 102 comes Thursday night in Hastings.
