The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says $90,000 worth of marijuana was seized Wednesday after deputies pulled over a car on I-80 near Lincoln.
It's the second time this week, and it happened at about the same time and place as Tuesday's bust. This time, Sheriff Wagner says 37-year-old Joseph Beard of Owens Cross, Alabama and 34-year-old Benjamin Smart of Orlando, Florida were arrested by deputies following a traffic stop at 11:20pm Wednesday.
It happened near mile marker 397 on I-80 near Lincoln. Sheriff Wagner says both men were lodged in jail for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
On Tuesday, the sheriff's deputies pulled over a California couple for speeding. The sheriff's office says they recovered nearly $25,000 worth of medical marijuana.
