A Blizzard Warning has been issued for most of southeastern Nebraska from 3pm Wednesday to noon Thursday.
White out conditions will be expected. Sustained winds of 35 mph for 3 hours or more are expected.
Snow showers will begin in the mid afternoon and become moderate to heavy by late afternoon-early evening. Snow will taper off during the early morning hours Thursday. Snowfall amounts could be as high as 8-10" with locally heavier amounts in some areas. Areas that will be impacted the most by this storm will be along I-80 and points south. Winds pick up Wednesday night around 20-30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and blizzard-like conditions can't be ruled out. Travel may be difficult at times.
