Snow plows will soon have to get down residential streets.  To help the Public Works Street Department, Mayor Chris Beutler declared a residential parking ban that goes into effect at 8 a.m. today.

The ban includes even-numbered (north and east) sides of the street.   A residential parking ban applies to streets that are not emergency snow routes, arterials or bus routes or includes in a snow removal district.

Once the mayor has terminated that ban, parking will be banned on the odd-numbered (south and west) sides of the streets and parking is again permitted on the even sides.
