Lincoln man goes to jail for boated under the influence

A Lincoln man is headed to jail for being drunk when his motorboat collided with a sailboat.

The accident happened back in May at Branched Oak Lake. Kyle Garrett and seven others were injured. They swam to shore or were pulled to safety by other people.

The 19–year–old will serve seven months in jail, beginning December 26th.
