LPD: Drunk driving arrest numbers increase

The latest numbers are in from the Lincoln Police Department's drunk driving crackdown.

Police Chief Jim Peschong says as of December 23rd, they've arrested 150 people on driving under the influence charges.

2 people were arrested on Christmas eve and one on Christmas day.

Peschong says the number of arrests have grown on Saturdays and Sundays.

The enforcement continues through the end of the month.
