Washington, DC (Vocus) January 2, 2013 – Later this month, WPL Publishing will sponsor a webinar to help professionals within the construction community decide how to choose a schedule delay analysis method for their projects and claims.
There has been plenty of discussion about construction project delays and delay claims. There has been even more discussion about which schedule delay analysis method is best to use. However, there has been very little discussion about how these professionals should go about selecting a method. Which practical matters should be considered when selecting a method? Professionals attending the webinar will learn what to consider when facing this choice. To register for the 90-minute event, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at 1:00 (EST), visit http://tinyurl.com/a5fwjd5.
During the webinar, answers to the following questions will be provided:
Webinar attendees will leave this event with insight into the 11 factors that a scheduler should at least consider when making a choice.
Addressing attendees will be Navigant Construction Forum Executive Director James Zack and Steven Collins, director of Navigant Consulting Inc.
Zack once served as executive director of corporate claims management for Fluor Corp., an engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance contractor. In the construction claims field, he is a recognized and published expert in mitigation, analysis, and resolution or defense of construction claims and disputes.
Mr. Collins has more than 25 years of combined experience in dispute resolution, construction, and engineering, providing services to owners, contractors, architects, engineers, state and municipal governments, and commercial and industrial corporations. In addition to managing large, complex construction projects, he has extensive consulting experience, including the provision of expert testimony in bench and jury trial arbitrations, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution forums on schedule delay and cost impact matters, among other areas.
After their presentations, there will be an interactive 10-to-15 minute question-and-answer session addressing relevant topics.
Webinar tuition is based on location, not number of participants, so each registration site can have multiple participants for one low price. To register, visit http://tinyurl.com/a5fwjd5.
