Some of the best work of a noted wildlife photographer and Nebraska native is being featured in an exhibit at the Great Plains Art Museum at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
"Great Plains: America's Lingering Wild,'' by Michael Forsberg opens today and will run through March 30. Forsberg will be in attendance for a special First Friday reception which will be held on March 1.
Known for highlighting the landscape and wildlife of the Great Plains, Forsberg's exhibit will hold 60 large color photographs from his collection.
Forsberg is a Lincoln native, and graduate of UNL, with a degree in geography and an emphasis in environmental studies.
