The Seward County Sheriff's Office says the man made terroristic threats at a home in Staplehurst Monday night.
38–year–old Matthew Mundhenke was arrested around 4 a.m. Tuesday. Sheriff Joe Yocum says Mundhenke assaulted one resident in the home and made terroristic threats to others Monday night at around 8 p.m. The sheriff says when deputies arrived, Mundhenke was gone.
He was arrested several hours later in the yard of a Seward home by police. Mundhenke was arrested for four counts of Terroristic Threats, Domestic Assault, and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Felony Criminal Mischief, Trespassing, Child Abuse/Neglect and Obstructing a Criminal Investigation.
