Doane College rallied midway through the second half to record their twelth home victory of the season as they defeated Mount Marty College, 62-59. The Tigers improved to 18-3 on the season, 8-3 in the GPAC and 12-0 at home.
Nick Reed posted 21 points and 10 rebounds, both game highs, to lead Doane on the afternoon. Shavontae Samuels added 18 points for the Tigers.
Austin Harms led Mount Marty with 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Saladin Smith added 12 points for the Lancers.
Doane will host Hastings College on Wednesday, January 16 at 8:00 PM following women's action. Mount Marty will play host to #10 Dordt College on the 16th with an 8 PM start time.
