The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says the truck driver didn't see the train due to the fog.
It happened at around 9:30 Thursday morning. The sheriff's office says they received a call that a train had hit a car just south of Sterling in Johnson County. When they arrived, they found the accident involved a grain truck hauling corn was hit by a train. No one was hurt.
The sheriff's office says the truck driver didn't see the train as he cross the tracks due to the fog. The train hit the back end of the truck spilling the corn onto the tracks that cross Highway 41.
