Barn destroyed in fire in Eagle

A barn is completely destroyed four miles south of Eagle.

Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department says flames started building around 2:30 am Friday off of Highway 43. They say crews worked for a few hours to put out the fire and focus on hot spots.

No people were injured.

No word on if animals were in the barn.
