Man involved in fatal July 4 shooting sentenced

Robert Robinson was given jail-time for a hit and run accident that lead to a shooting death.

A Lancaster County Court judge sentenced Robinson to 30 days in jail for willful reckless driving. Robinson had pleaded no contest in the case. Robinson is accused of hitting an 8-year-old boy with his car on July 4th. The boy suffered minor injuries. Later that night, four men-including the boy's father, Orlando Sifuentez, drove to Robinson's house to confront him about the accident.

Witnesses told police one of the four men started shooting at Robinson, but Robinson fired shots back wounding one man and fatally shooting Sifuentez.

No charges were filed against Robinson in the shooting death.
