A Lincoln man is headed to jail for assaulting a man with a trophy back in November.

David Harvey, 21, was sentenced Friday in Lancaster County Court to 90 days in jail with credit for 59 served and a 250 dollar fine.

Harvey pleaded no contest to third–degree assault in December.

Police say the 44-year-old victim told officers that he and a woman were walking in downtown Lincoln when Harvey made inappropriate comments to the woman.

When the man asked Harvey to stop, Harvey punched him and hit him with a 14-inch-long metal trophy.
