Police have released surveillance images of two suspects who robbed the U-Stop near 27th and Pine Lake Road.

This is the second robbery in south Lincoln in less than a week.

The robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. on Monday.

Two men entered the U-Stop wearing black jackets and black masks.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at the cashier on duty. Police said the suspect demanded cash and cigarettes. Both suspects left with an undisclosed amount of both, according to police.

The suspects ran off, but police tried to track them down with a canine search.

This robbery comes just days after a Super C robbery last Tuesday at 34th and Old Cheney Road.

Police said the suspect showed the cashier his gun and told the teller he would shoot if the money was not handed over.

Police are still looking for the suspects in both robberies. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
