The overnight snow helped police catch an attempted robbery suspect.
Police say just before midnight, 20–year–old Lincoln man, Guno Yankton, went to Russ's Market near 17th and Washington streets.
They say he threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded cash.
Lincoln police say he didn't get any money from the clerk, and left the store.
Officers say they then followed the suspect's tracks in the snow from the store to a nearby home.
That's where they found Yankton and the clothes and handgun used.
He's arrested for attempted robbery.
