The accident happened at 14th & Cushman Drive in south Lincoln.
It happened just after 1:30 Thursday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to an accident involving a small StarTran handi-van and a Toyota Camry. Four people from the Camry were taken to the hospital. Lincoln Police Captain Jim Davidsaver says all four suffered non-life threatening injuries. One person suffered a broken jaw. There were no passengers on the bus. The driver was able to escape before it burst into flames.
Davidsaver says the cause of the crash is still under investigation and no citations have been issued. He says the Camry was driving southbound and appears to have crossed into the northbound lanes of 14th street, hitting the bus head-on.
