A burglary suspect goes to the extreme to steak from a Lincoln woman.

The Wednesday burglary happened at an apartment building near 52nd and Huntington Road.

But the method of entry was not your typical forced door or broken window. The suspect entered through the attic.

"He or she ripped away insulation or drywall to access the victim's apartment through the ceiling," Officer Katie Flood said.

Police said the suspect crawled through a ceiling in a common hallway.

The burglar got away with two flat screen TVs, DVDs, games and jewelry.

Police estimate the total loss is around $2,500.

Police have no description of the suspect. They do believe the suspect knew the victim and had access to the building.
