Shavon Shields once again gave Nebraska basketball fans encouragement for the future. The freshman notched his first career double-double in Saturday's 73-64 loss to No.8 Michigan State.
Shields who scored all 19 points in the second half energized the Devaney Center with 12 points in the first five minutes of the second half.
The Kansas City, Kansas product also grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds, more than half of Nebraska's team total of 24.
