The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from late Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon. The snow is expected to start falling Wednesday night and continue through Thursday in Lincoln and most of Eastern Nebraska.
Eight to 12 inches of snow is expected to fall with east winds 15 to 25 mph causing significant blowing and drifting. Snow, sleet and ice accumulations can make travel extremely dangerous.
