A winter storm watch remains in effect for most of eastern Nebraska. The watch starts late Wednesday evening and ends Thursday Night. Up to 8 inches of snow is predicted in Lincoln and up to a foot of snow could fall in central Nebraska. The heaviest snow will fall Thursday morning and afternoon.
Winds of 15 to 25 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow plus hazardous driving conditions. Winds will diminish late Thursday evening.
