A winter storm warning remains in effect from 6 a.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday. Lincoln can expect six to nine inches of snow with this storm and some areas in southeast Nebraska can expect heavier snowfall totals.
Light snow is expected to begin early Thursday morning with some light accumulations at sunrise on Thursday. Heavy snow will begin falling Thursday afternoon and evening. East winds of 15 to 25 mph will cause some blowing and drifting and winds will diminish Thursday evening.
Travel will be difficult especially during the afternoon rush hour.
