LINCOLN:

- Lincoln Public Schools cancellations and postponements. http://www.lps.org/post/detail.cfm?id=7021

Friday Closings:

- Lincoln Senior Centers are closed.

- Today's Community Coffee has been canceled.

- Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties will be open to the public on Friday. However, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Site held there today will also be closed today due to local driving conditions.

- Strategic Air and Space Museum - Opens at Noon today.

- Lincoln AMA's Cause Camp, a nonprofit marketing conference, scheduled for Friday, Feb 22 is cancelled. This event will be rescheduled.

- World of Knowledge Child Development Center is closed.

- Nebraska Christian Men's Chorus Guest Night postponed until February 28 at 7 PM

-The Saline County courthouse in Wilber, please call prior to visiting--(402) 821-2374.

-D1-2 Boys Sub-District Basketball Games @Fillmore Central H.S. in Geneva postponed to Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 1pm.

-The Nebraska Safety Council is cancelling all classes scheduled for Friday. (This includes STOP classes)

-The Lincoln Eagles club # 147 will be closed Friday 2/22/13 due to the storm.

- Sheldon Museum of Art's Tet Festival celebration, scheduled for Friday, February 22, has been postponed to Sunday, February 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. Free shuttle transportation is available between the Asian Community and Cultural Center, 2635 O Street, and Sheldon Museum of Art from 1:45 to 5:00 p.m. The museum and festival are free and open to all.

-Bright Lights has cancelled its Night Lights event for this Saturday, Feb. 23 in Lincoln.

- The Legion breakfast in Pleasant Dale for Sunday, Feb. 24 is cancelled.

CRETE:  

Crete's Mayor has declared a snow emergency.  Vehicle owners are asked to remove their vehicles from all marked emergency snow routes beginning 6:00PM on Wednesday, February 20 through 8:00AM on Friday, February 22, 2013.

SEWARD:

-The City of Seward Public Works & Streets Department is declaring a Snow Emergency effective from 12:00pm-Noon on Thursday, February 21st to 12pm-Noon on Friday, February 22nd.
With the forecast of heavy snowfall parking will be prohibited from all marked Snow Emergency Routes and Residential Streets in the City.

EAGLE:

-The Village of Eagle in Cass County, Nebraska has issued a Snow Emergency from 6:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21St until 8:00 a.m. Friday, February 22nd.

WAVERLY:

-The City of Waverly has declared a snow emergency effective at 6.m. Thursday until noon Friday.
