Highway 2 accident injures several people

Several people were hurt in an accident this afternoon in Lincoln. A car and a pickup collided at 40th and Highway 2.

Police say it appears the car failed to yield to the pickup. No word yet on the extent of injuries. Highway 2 westbound from 44th to 33rd was closed as the accident was investigated.
