A funeral service and fund have been set up in honor of Ofc. Clarke.
Family, friends, and coworkers mourn the loss of Lincoln Police Officer John Clarke. Clarke died suddenly on Monday after collapsing while working out at a Lincoln gym. Lincoln police say his death was heart-related.
Officer Clark is survived by his wife, and three children.
Funeral services for Officer Clark are scheduled for Friday, March 1 at Capitol City Christian Church, 7800 Holdrege Street with Pastor Rusty Miller & Pastor Bill Thornton officiating.
Memorials can be made to Capitol City Christian Church, Special Olympics, & Clarke Children Education Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank.
Visitation is Thursday from 2-8 pm with family present from 6-7:30 pm at Roper and Sons. Condolences can be made online at roperandsons.com.
