A Lincoln police officer and a teen suffered minor injuries after an accident south of downtown.

It happened at around 8:30 this morning at 9th and G streets. Police say the teenager driving west on G failed to stop at 9^th Street and hit the cruiser.

The SUV flipped onto its top. Both drivers were taken to the hospital to be treated.

The crash blocked a lane of traffic for about an hour this morning.
