R.A. Salvatore Book Signing at Sold-out Convention, Plus In-game Beta Weekend Accommodates Gamers without Passes
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Perfect World Entertainment Inc. is pleased to announce that Neverwinter, the critically acclaimed Dungeons & Dragons® MMORPG, is making a major appearance at PAX East, which takes place March 22 to March 24 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Neverwinteris located at Booth 624 on the show floor. Gamers can experience playable demos on 18 stations featuring epic adventures and the latest pre-launch updates straight from the game's exclusive Beta Weekends. Fans in attendance can take control of the fearless Great Weapon Fighter class, made available to the public for the very first time as a playable class, and witness all five classes in action. At the end of each demo, players will receive in-game treasure that directly corresponds to fantastic physical prizes, including limited edition t-shirts and bags, a variety of gaming hardware, redeemable codes that grant for permanent in-game items, and even Neverwinter potions and balms.
In true Dungeons & Dragons fashion, attendees get to meet R.A. Salvatore, New York Times best-selling author of the popular Forgotten Realms® series The Legend of Drizzt®. Salvatore is promoting his latest novel, The Last Threshold, Neverwinter Saga, Book IV, set to release on March 5. He will be available for a book signing on March 22 and March 23 from 3- 4 p.m EST at the Neverwinter booth.
