Burglar takes one item from Family Dollar

An overnight burglar wasn't looking for the priciest items in the world.

Police said the burglary happened around 12:30 Saturday morning at the Family Dollar on 24th and N Streets.

Officers said when they arrived, they found the front door smashed in.

Police said the suspect entered the store, took one unknown item, then left.

They estimate about ten dollars worth of items were taken and the burglar caused 300 dollars in damages.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
