Strong winds hit the capital city

A dusting of snow hit Lincoln Monday night leaving streets damp, but the big concern this morning: the brutal winds.

Walking out the door Tuesday morning, you might find a dusting of snow on your car and on your front lawn, but most of the moisture that fell on city streets is already gone.

The big story this morning is a nasty wind advisory in effect. Expect winds of 35 to 40 miles per hour today. The advisory lasts until 3 p.m. but has the possibility of being extended.
