The slippery conditions on the roads are being blamed for at least on death in a car accident just south of Satillo Road.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office said there was a two vehicle fatal accident on Highway 43 on Sunday afternoon.
Justin Muhm, 22, Sterling, died when his car collided with a northbound van.
The driver of the van, Loren Rice, 42, Bennett, was not hurt.
The Sheriff's Office said there were no passengers in either vehicle and both people involved were wearing seat belts.
The accident is still under investigation.
