Lincoln police say 34-year-old Gabriel Muratella was arrested for stealing an ATM in February.
Police say Muratella used a forklift to take the ATM from 56th and South Streets on February 28. The ATM was found in an apartment complex garage at 48th and Old Cheney on March 4. Police say the person renting the garage made the discovery and wrote down the license plate of a truck that was parked there. Police say the investigation led to Muratella.
On Wednesday afternoon, police located Muratella at an address near 70th and Wedgewood. A K-9 found him hiding under a mattress in the basement of the house.
Muratella was arrested on several outstanding warrants and felony possession of stolen property.
