Police search for suspect in armed robbery

Lincoln police are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery of a local convenience store.

It happed at 2 o'clock Sunday morning. A while male dressed in all black with a black backpack walked into the Kwik Shop near 40th and "A" and demanded money.

The robber was holding a handgun, and the clerk placed an undisclosed amount of money in the backpack. The robber left eastbound on foot.
