Teen girl killed in early morning accident

HERSHEY, Neb. (AP) The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a 19-year-old woman and injured the 18-year-old woman driver.

The accident happened near Hershey early Saturday morning on Interstate 80.

Authorities said Casey Lake, 18, of Grant lost control of the vehicle around 12:30 a.m.

The vehicle rolled several times, and Emma Redinger, 19, of Ogallala was fatally injured.

Lake was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the crash.
