Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon to 7 a.m. Sunday.
Timing---Although a period of snow could occur this morning, a steadier snow will probably not move in until late this afternoon. Occasional moderate or even briefly heavy snow is expected, perhaps for a while this afternoon but especially this evening and early tonight.
Accumulations---3 to 5 inches are forecast.
Winds---Northeast to north winds at 15 to 25 mph will accompany the snow later today and tonight. This will lead to some blowing and drifting snow tonight.
Main impact---The light snow this morning could lead to a few slick roads while the steadier and occasionally moderate snow later this afternoon and tonight will bring snow packed conditions to uncleared roads.
Precautionary/preparedness actions---A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
