It was a terrifying night for a Lincoln woman after being robbed in her home.

It happened around midnight near 61st and Colfax in northeast Lincoln.

Police say the woman answered a knock on her front door and saw a woman standing on her porch.  Investigators say soon after, five males forced their way inside.

Officials say they held a knife to the woman's neck and threatened to kill her.

"During the incident she was punched twice in the face and did sustain some minor swelling," Officer Katie Flood said.

Police say the suspects demanded money and looked through her home.  They say the suspects took an X–Box gaming system and a pair of athletic shoes.  The woman told police the suspects got into a silver or gray large box–style car.

Police say seven suspects were involved.
