The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says a fire at a trailer home in Martell was intentionally set.

Sheriff Terry Wagner says the State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the fire at the home of Allen Chilen, who was arrested Sunday for assaulting his roommate.

Firefighters were called to 2510 Luther Street in Martell Tuesday morning.  Sheriff Wagner says no one was home at the time of the fire.  Chilen remains in custody at the Lancaster County jail.

On Sunday, deputies were called to the home after Chilen's roommate reported being beaten up by Chilen.  He suffered fractures in his face.  Chilen was arrested for 1st Degree Assault.

Wagner says the fire was started in the bedroom.  Damage is estimated at $1,500.  No arrests have been made.
