OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Several inches of snow is falling in parts of Nebraska due to a spring storm, and more could be on the way.  Channel 8 Chief Meteorologist Luke Dorris says 1-3 inches of snow is expected in Lancaster County.

The National Weather Service says between 3 and 5 inches of snow has fallen in the southern half of the Nebraska Panhandle over a 24-hour period. Up to 6 inches of snow was reported in northeast Nebraska.

The snow is expected to break several records for snowfall in May.
