Police continue to search for an armed robbery suspect.  The robbery happened early Thursday morning.

Several Lincoln Police officers showed up at the scene to investigate.  The robbery happened around 1:30 Thursday morning at the Kwik Shop near 44th and Cornhusker Highway.  Police said the suspect pointed a black gun at the clerk behind the counter and demanded money from the register.  Police said the suspect made it out of the store and ran east.   Police set up a parameter around the store but found no one.

Police said they're looking for a black male around 6 feet tall and skinny.  He was wearing a black ball cap with a dark colored shirt and gray jeans.  He had a white t-shirt over his face.   Call police if you have any information.
