The Saline County Sheriff's Office says a Dorchester man was killed in an accident early Tuesday morning.  It happened just after 5 a.m north of Hwy 33 at the intersection of County Road 1300, west of Dorchester.

The sheriff's office says an east bound Burlington Northern Sante Fe train collided with a red 1988 Dodge pick-up that had been northbound.  40-year-old Brad Kasl, the driver of the pick-up, was found dead at the scene.

The incident is being investigated by the Saline County Sheriff's Office and BNSF.
