Police say a motorcycle lost control and flipped over just before 2 a.m. on Sunday near 48th and Cornhusker.
The bike was heading northbound on 48th and attempted to turn right onto Cornhusker highway when it struck a curb and turned over. Both the driver and the passenger were tossed from the bike, a 2004 Yamaha.
According to police the driver of the bike, 34-year-old Daniel Kress, was cited for negligent driving. He does not have a motorcycle license.
The passenger, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
