LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Nebraska Wesleyan is adding men's and women's swimming teams to its athletic program starting in 2014 through 2015.
The school announced Thursday that it has started the search for a head coach and that the teams will use the six-lane, 25-yard pool at the Marion and Marian Weary Health and Fitness Center. Nebraska Wesleyan will participate in NCAA Division Three varsity competitions and will be able to host meets at its campus pool.
The addition of swimming will bring the total number of Nebraska Wesleyan varsity sports to 20.
