"He rode his motorcycle, and he raced down at Eagle Raceway," Kelly Osmon, Jesse's mother, said.
Kelly Osmon says her son had a passion for stock cars, motorcycles, and racing; all things he grew up loving.
"They always had motorcycles and stuff around their house," family friend Adam Nobbe said.
Jesse Osmon was driving his brand new Harley Davidson this morning, when he lost control at Branched Oak Lake.
Lancaster County Deputies say the bike landed on a grass embankment on the east side of the dam.
He was killed on impact.
Nobbe says he had a bad feeling when he got the call.
"His brother called me about 3:40 this morning and I knew it probably wasn't good," he said.
Hours later, many are left grieving.
"He tried to be happy and he just tried to help everybody, that's the kind of person he was, he was soft–hearted," Kelly said.
His brother, Alex Osmon, will miss having his big brother by his side, the most.
"It was so shocking I didn't expect it. I love him so much and he's gone," he said.
Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash. Osmon was wearing a DOT approved helmet.
