Five children were riding a four-wheeler on an acreage on Princeton Road in Firth. It's located near Norris Elementary School just south of Lincoln.

The grass was slick, causing the four-wheeler to flip.

All five children, ages 3 to 16, were taken by ambulance to a hospital in Lincoln. The youngest rider, a three-year-old boy, was trapped under the vehicle.

But officials said a few neighbors ran over and freed the toddler.

Chuck Korgman, Firth Fire Chief, said their injuries are not life-threatening.

He said only the nanny was home at the time. She was the one who called 911.

Krogeman said he's not sure if she was supervising the children on the four-wheeler or if she was inside the house.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's house is investigating the incident, but they think this was just an accident.
