A scary situation Wednesday morning for a few central Lincoln residents when police say they were held against their will.

Police say two people forced their way into a home near 16th and E Streets, around midnight.

Police say the woman in the home was held against their will after a drug deal gone wrong.

Police say a firearm was used in the incident.

33-year-old Prentis Dancer and 34-year-old Lafondra Royal stormed into the home demanding money. They threatened the couple and told the husband to go get cash.

Officers say while he was gone, they held the woman against her will. The whole thing lasted about five hours.

Police say Dancer and Royal took off in a truck, but officers pulled them over and made arrests a while later.
