A late night house fire sends one to the hospital.

It happened at this home on South 14th St. a little after 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

Battalion Chief Tim Linke says the fire broke out in an upper floor, and occupants were home at the time.

Fire crews say one person was taken to the St. Elizabeth's burn unit, and treated for smoke inhalation.

The red cross was on site to assist anyone who needed it.
