The Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler is urging residents to conserve water to avoid imposing higher rates.  Mayor Beutler asks Lincoln water customers to follow the designated day schedule for outdoor watering.  He says that will help keep daily usage under the city target maximum of 70 million gallons a day.

If your address ends on an even number, they encourage you to water on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  If your address ends on an odd number, you can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

There are no voluntary or mandatory restrictions in effect at this time.
